In-Person Classroom and Range Training
USCCA Certified Instructor Eustace Scroggins offers classroom-style and range training
The USCCA offers in-person classroom-style courses, range training, and in-depth online training that has been carefully developed by self-defense industry experts. These classes are open to both USCCA members and non-members, and are suitable for students of all experience levels.
There is no substitute for in-person training with a certified firearms instructor. All responsible gun owners can benefit from taking an in-person class to truly sharpen their skills, build confidence and forge a protector mindset.
It is important to understand the legal consequences of using your firearm. You will learn how to properly de-escalate a situation, and what to do in the aftermath when the use of deadly force is the only option to keep you and your loved ones safe.
Basic Handgun Course
This course will arm you with the basic skills you need to maintain the highest level of confidence in the event of a self-defense incident. Topics covered range from the universal safety rules, proper grip and stance to the legal use of force.
It is a great course for new firearms owners. It will also help more experienced shooters build on their marksmanship and safety skills.
Protecting Your House of Worship
In this course, you’ll pour over data collected from 48 mass shootings, finding similarities along the way which will lead you to a conclusion that answers the question – what can be done to counter this threat? Once you’ve learned all you can from these historical events, you’ll begin to understand the importance of developing an Emergency Operations Plan, and the systematic forethought that goes into mass casualty preparation.
